How Juume AI Handles your Data
1. About This Notice
Juume AI, Inc. (“Juume AI”, “we”, “us”) provides artificial-intelligence software services to business customers. This notice explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. It applies to https://www.juume.ai, our services, and our dealings with prospective customers, customers, vendors, and job applicants. Customer-controlled information is governed by the customer’s own privacy notice; Juume AI processes it only on the customer’s instructions and under our agreement.
2. Personal Information We Collect
We collect identifiers and contact details; account and authentication information, including Google identity and multi-factor authentication; commercial information; usage and device information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and activity time; strictly necessary cookies; recruitment information; and employment information. We do not seek sensitive personal information from visitors or prospective customers. Our services are not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
3. Why We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to provide, operate, maintain, and support services; administer accounts and authentication; communicate notices; respond to enquiries; secure systems and prevent fraud; improve services; assess candidates; comply with law; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We collect only information adequate, relevant, and reasonably necessary for the disclosed purpose.
4. Artificial Intelligence and Model Training
We do not use personal information or customer data to train, fine-tune, or evaluate our models. Our models are developed using licensed, publicly available, and synthetic data. If that changes, we will update this notice and obtain consent or provide an opt-out before use begins. We do not make legal or similarly significant decisions using solely automated processing; hiring decisions are made by people.
5. When We Disclose Personal Information
We disclose personal information only to service providers and processors, professional advisers, legal and regulatory authorities where required, and parties involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Juume AI does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, process it for targeted advertising, or use it for significant-effect profiling. Personal information is processed and stored in the United States.
6. How Long We Keep It
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purpose collected, plus any period required by law or needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. When retention expires, information is securely and irreversibly deleted, including by cryptographic erasure in our cloud environment.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, opt out, obtain portability, and receive non-discriminatory treatment. We honour these rights for Virginia and California residents and extend them to others where able. Submit requests using Section 11’s contact details. We verify identity before acting, respond within 45 days, may extend once where reasonably necessary, and explain refusals. Appeals marked “Privacy Appeal” are reviewed within 60 days.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use strictly necessary cookies only to operate the website and keep it secure. We do not use analytics, advertising, functional, or other non-essential cookies, web beacons, pixels, or similar trackers. You can block or delete cookies through browser settings. If we introduce non-essential tracking, we will obtain consent and update this notice first.
9. How We Protect Personal Information
We maintain a documented information security programme. Personal information is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher and at rest using AES-256. Access follows least privilege, requires multi-factor authentication, is logged and reviewed, and customer environments are separated by distinct virtual private cloud boundaries. We monitor security events, remediate vulnerabilities, conduct annual independent penetration testing, and maintain an incident response plan.
10. Changes to This Notice
We review this notice at least annually and whenever processing materially changes. For material changes, we update the effective date and, where required or significant, notify you directly. Previously published versions are retained.
